Friendly vibe, efficient and safe location, 24-hour staff… Everything was decent. I know many reviews already highlight the good points, so instead, I’ll share a few tips I figured out during my stay. 1. If you’re coming back late after watching the Eiffel Tower light show or something similar and looking for a supermarket, a place called Célestines Market can be an option. It’s open until 2 AM and is popular for late-night River Seine picnics. 2. If you’re in the mood for a short, relaxing walk, I recommend Île Saint-Louis. You can start at one end of the island and walk to the other. The location of The People Paris Marais makes it a convenient starting point. 3. If you want to enjoy a nighttime city view but feel uneasy walking alone, take Bus 72 and sit on the right side. You’ll pass by several iconic spots in Paris, including the Eiffel Tower on the return route. 4. If you come down to the lobby and feel too lazy to go back up just to use the bathroom, you can find one easily on the 2nd floor before entering the restaurant. Overall, I think this place is worth staying at. Its location is perfect for those who love walking and want to explore key spots in Paris.

I stayed in an 8 bed dorm room. It was very clean, beds had privacy curtains, individual lights, storage shelfs, charging points and each assigned a lockable storage locker. The washrooms were also very clean. Guests have complained about the showers that go off after every 30 seconds - while it may have been a little inconvenient, I felt it was a great reminder to not use as much water....one can easily press on the knob but your conscious won't allow you to keep pressing as many times, so I guess it works for water conservation 😆. There were chill out rooms on each floor and a kitchen which I didn't use. It is easily accessible via public transport, 2 minutes walk to/from Sully-Morland station on metro line 7 or 9 minutes walk to/from Bastille on metro line 5. The river Seine is on the opposite end of the building so one can take long walks along the river or Saint Martin canal nearby. From here you can also walk to Bastille, Notre Dame Cathedral, etc. PS: Sofitel Hotel next door, S/O Paris, has a rooftop bar with what I believe is the best view of Paris (the smoking room has an even better view....not to forget the view from the washroom side)

This hostel is adjacent to many major things you may want to see in Paris. It's not in the thick of things, so there is a little bit of peace while still being incredibly accessible. There is a kitchen with all the normal things you might find in one, including two small fridges to store your food in. It is kept well cleaned, like everything else here. This was truly an immaculate hostel. Someone comes by and cleans the rooms every day. So even if your roommates are messy, it's not too much of a problem. They provide a towel, a sheet, a pillow with pillowcase, and a comforter to every person. There is curtain for each bed cubby, with shelves, outlets, a mirror, and lighting. The box to store your luggage in is small, so you may need to just leave your suitcase out and locked up. Just lock your valuables in the box. Staff is at the front desk 24/7, and are helpful if you have any concerns. I never felt unsafe here, no matter the time of day or night. I'm so happy I chose to stay here.

The People exceeded my expectations! Love the neighbourhood! Close to everything (Cute cafes, tourist spots) The room is also big and has enough space to move and for your luggages. Bed has curtains for privacy and has sockets for your devices. The Coffee and food at the bar were pretty decent. I also love the ambiance it's really cute! I'll definitely book this place again when I go back to Paris. Staffs were friendly and easy to communicate. You do not have to worry if you don't speak french :) I highly recommend!!

I mainly chose this hostel for the location. It is near Pont Sully and from here it is easy to walk along the Seine to notable places such as Pont Neuf. The rooms, beds, and bathrooms are tidy. There are storage lockers in each room to store valuables throughout the day. There are curtains on each bunk, which provides privacy. Inside each bunk is a charging port, mirror and a considerable amount of storage space given the size of the bunk.
